PacAero - Mission is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to build, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair tooling used in our precision manufacturing operations. This position plays a critical role in supporting production through the development and maintenance of high-quality tooling, dies, fixtures, and precision components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, repair, and maintain tooling, dies, fixtures, and precision components.
• Perform manual machining operations including milling, turning, and grinding.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues that affect production, quality, or uptime.
• Modify tooling to improve performance and longevity.
• Support press setup and die adjustments as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Support continuous improvement efforts in the machine shop.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

• Experience as a Tool & Die Maker or in a similar tooling role.
• Strong manual machining skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Values must align with established team culture and contribute to team camaraderie.

Preferred:

• Progressive die experience.
• Multi-stage deep drawing experience.
• CNC experience.
• Experience in high-precision manufacturing.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Availability for overtime as needed.
