[DIRECT HIRE] TOOL & DIE TECHNICIAN | MANUFACTURING | KCMO1st Shift Opportunity where you will repair multi-cavity molds, oversee apprentices and perform other related tasks. Large manufacturer in KCMO.$34/hour base (up to $40/hour for top experience), plus shift differential (if applicable)Health Insurance, Dental/Vision, Life Insurance, 401KOpportunities for skill development1st Shift | 7:30am-3:30pm | M-F, with overtimeResponsibilities:Repair and maintain multi-cavity injection molds with hot runner systems.Analyze mold conditions, fabricate/repair parts using machine tools.Fit components to tight tolerances, read blueprints, oversee apprentices.Log repairs, ensure safety and environmental compliance.Minor welding/fabricationOversee ApprenticesQualifications:High school diploma; 4-year apprenticeship + 4 years experience in tool/mold repair.Hot runners;.0005" tolerances; machine tools; 10-15 yrs typical.Knowledge of trigonometry, machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders).Ability to lift 50-100 lbs; mandatory overtime.
