Location:

Boise, Idaho. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a litigation attorney who enjoys collaborating with a legal team, engaging directly with clients, and taking an active role in case strategy and advocacy.

Note:

Must have an active license to practice law in Idaho and at least 2 years of directly relevant civil litigation experience.

Job Description

• Represent clients in a variety of civil litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution.
• Develop case strategies and provide practical legal advice based on each client's objectives.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, responses, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex factual and legal issues.
• Manage discovery, document review, depositions, and other pretrial activities.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as appropriate.
• Communicate directly with clients and provide clear updates and strategic guidance.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward effective resolutions.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to manage matters efficiently and deliver excellent client service.
• Manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Idaho.
• 2+ years of directly relevant civil litigation experience.
• Strong experience with legal research, writing, motion practice, discovery, and case management.
• Excellent analytical, communication, advocacy, and client counseling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and professional initiative.
• Trial, hearing, deposition, mediation, or arbitration experience is a plus.
