Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.90 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 06:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 06:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 06:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 06:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and/or first responders. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe visitor, patient, and staff activity in accordance with site protocols, reporting concerns and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in required reports, and assist with directions, escorts, and other customer service needs as requested. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Hospital vaccines are required. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
