Job Full Description

Seeking an experienced Paralegal/Legal Assistant for a local Law Firm :

Job Duties:

Conduct prescreening on potential cases like investigating claims
Drafting pleadings, motions, orders and filing in both state and federal court
Proofread work for content, accuracy of copy, format, grammar, punctuation and syntax
Creating trial notes books and mediation binders including all critical information
Other Administrative duties as assigned

Education/Qualification Requirements:

3-5 years minimum previous litigation experience required
Experience requesting medical records and preparing in depth medical summaries
Top-notch written and verbal communication skills along with effective interaction skills
Must have in depth understanding of legal terms and NM court rules & procedures
