Structural Welder – Fabrication & Field Work Location: Colorado Springs, CO Schedule: Full-time | Monday – Friday, 7:00a-4:30p Job Summary Express Employment Professionals is seeking skilled Senior Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have five or more years of welding and fabrication experience, proficiency in GTAW welding, and knowledge of structural steel assembly. This role supports shop-based fabrication on a wide range of projects, for department of defense suppliers including, architectural, and custom metalwork in high quality stainless steels and aerospace grade aluminum alloys. Job Highlights Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, long-term opportunity with overtime available Opportunities for skill growth and advancement Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) with precision and efficiency Cut, shape, fit, and assemble structural and fabricated metal components Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols Operate welding and fabrication equipment, including both manual and automated welding equipment, as well as tape measure, angle grinder, die grinder, clamps, hammers, manual plasma machine, cranes, and pipe layout tools. Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other material‑handling equipment Successfully pass 3G welder qualification Test weld/fabrication tests as part of the hiring process Successfully participate in background check and drug testing Qualifications Education & Experience: Minimum of five years of GTAW welding experience REQUIRED. Must have light gauge stainless steel and plate thickness for aluminum knowledge AND experience Participate in Drug Test Screening and Background Check Skills & Abilities: Ability to read blueprints, follow welding codes, and perform accurate layout and fit-up Strong math skills, including fractions, ratios, and percentages Familiarity with fabrication tools, mills, and material‑handling equipment Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality AWS or equivalent certifications preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
