CORPORATE HR MANAGER

Job TitleAMPI owns six Midwest-based manufacturing plants where 10 percent of the nation's American-type cheese and processed cheese is produced. The cooperative's award-winning cheese and powdered dairy products are marketed to foodservice, retail and food ingredient customers. In 2019, the co-op launched its Dinner Bell Creamery brand and accompanying Co-op Crafted promise, highlighting more than 50 years of dairy farm families partnering with skilled cheesemakers.Essential ResponsibilitiesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time:Leadership & Strategy Guide plant HR Managers to ensure consistent application of HR policiesImplement strategic HR initiatives across multiple locationsDrive continuous improvement in HR processes and systemsTalent Management Oversee corporate recruitment processes and support plant-level hiring needsManage immigration and out of area recruitment initiativesAdminister employment offers and pre-employment screeningConduct new hire orientation and ensure consistent onboardingCompliance & Governance Ensure organizational adherence to federal and state employment regulations.Develop and maintain the corporate Affirmative Action Plan, including required training and outreach activitiesConduct compliance audits of HR processes and recommend necessary adjustmentsInvestigate and resolve employee complaints in accordance with company policy and legal requirementsHR Operations Management Maintain comprehensive and confidential HR record systems for all employment-related documentationEnsure accuracy and integrity of HRIS data across all locationsOversee benefit enrollment processes and coordinate with Benefits Manager on program administrationManage performance management systems and ensure timely completion of reviewsProfessional Development Direct learning and development initiatives for all employees across the organizationMonitor training compliance and completion rates across locationsProvide coaching and professional development to plant HR ManagersCreate capability-building opportunities for the HR team and broader organizationAnalytics & Reporting Develop and analyze key HR metrics and KPIs for executive leadership reviewIdentify trends and implement corrective actions to address unfavorable metricsPayroll & Benefits Provide back up support to the Corporate Payroll & Benefits ManagerOther duties as assignedAn individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
