Job Title: Architectural Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join our team and contribute to the creation of high-quality architectural projects. The successful candidate will assist the Project Architect and Architectural Practice Leader from the project's inception to the completion of construction documents. This role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of projects, collaborating with different disciplines and outside consultants.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Architect and Architectural Practice Leader from project inception to completion of construction documents.
• Convert basic schematics, renderings, 3D models, and design sketches into detailed construction documents and specifications.
• Prepare building models and detailed construction documents.
• Coordinate technical design of projects with other disciplines and outside consultants.

Essential Skills

• Excellent written, verbal, listening, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in relevant Computer Aided Design programs: Revit & Enscape.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.
• Detail oriented, action oriented, self-starter, and team player.
• Ability to multi-task and manage project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Architecture.
• Preferred 3 years minimum experience or a Master's in Architecture degree.
• Skills in Revit, construction document, architectural design, construction administration, and AutoCAD.

Work Environment

The company operates two offices, one in Holland and one in Grand Rapids. The Grand Rapids office is smaller, while the Holland office houses most of the construction team. The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, providing a great opportunity to engage with a dedicated team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI.

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $33.65/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Holland, MI.

This position is anticipated to close on Oct 26, 2026.
