Our strategic civilian sales team focuses on retaining existing revenue, generating new business within existing accounts and new business acquisition. About The Job The Account Manager serves as a Sales team member for Civilian Markets at the state and local levels. Responsibilities Initiating and answering inbound and/or outbound sales contact directly from/to prospective and/or existing customers Accepting orders, closing sales, maintaining customer records, and completing required documentation Identifying and qualifying prospective customers and recording sales prospecting activity in Salesforce Developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts within assigned agencies or geographic territories Maintaining a thorough understanding of government procurement procedures and guidelines to ensure that the organization's sales initiatives are fully compliant Regularly reviewing pipeline opportunities and providing updates in Salesforce Work towards an individual sales quota; may have a target earnings bonus or sales incentive opportunity Working with moderately complex territory/assigned accounts, products/services, sales, or account management processes Informing customers of new product/service introductions and prices Following up on leads with a sense of urgency and provide timely updates to Salesforce Maintaining a general understanding and knowledge of our solutions Conducting regular onsite and virtual appointments with strategic executives and business partners Continuing to build knowledge of business, financials, products/services, the market, or account needs Maintaining communication with the Sales Director and other internal stakeholders Attending industry conferences and events and representing our company, as required Requirements Strong and consistent performance at meeting or exceeding sales objections and quotas Minimum of 2+ years in AM experience Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate via all available channels Professional demeanor and strong work ethic Detail oriented, demonstrated strong organizational skills, and demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Demonstrated ability to multitask and respond effectively to changing priorities and/or situations Self-motivation and the ability to work independently Proficient in the use of Salesforce and other internal operational systems Ability to travel up to 30% of the time Benefits Health Benefits: Comprehensive, multi-carrier program for medical, dental and vision benefits Retirement Benefits: 401(k) with match and an Employee Share Purchase Plan Wellbeing: Wellness platform with incentives, Headspace app subscription, Employee Assistance and Time-off Programs Short-and-Long Term Disability, Life and Accidental Death Insurance, Critical Illness, and Hospital Indemnity Family Benefits, including bonding and family care leaves, adoption and surrogacy benefits Health Savings, Health Care, Dependent Care and Commuter Spending Accounts In addition to annual Paid Time Off, we offer up to two days of paid leave each to participate in Employee Resource Groups and to volunteer with your charity of choice U.S. National Base Pay Range: $42,600 - $70,800. Total Target Cash Range: $65,600 - $109,000. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
