Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Right at Home Cleveland West is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide personalized, in-home support that helps clients live safely and comfortably at home. The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, and a strong communicator with a genuine desire to help others. What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities) Personal care assistance: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting Meal preparation based on dietary preferences/restrictions Mobility & transfer support: assist with walking, transfers, and prescribed exercises Companionship & engagement to support emotional well-being Light housekeeping: laundry, vacuuming, keeping a tidy environment Transportation & errands accompany clients to appointments, shopping, etc. Observe and report changes in condition to the care team/family as appropriate Documentation of services provided and observations Team communication to ensure coordinated care Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Caregiving experience preferred (not required) Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional Strong communication and interpersonal skills Able to follow care plans and adapt to changing client needs Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license Must pass a background check and drug screening Benefits 401(k) available for those who qualify Weekly pay Monthly bonus opportunities Referral bonuses Working Conditions This role may include variable hours to meet client needs, including evenings and weekends, and work is performed in clients’ homes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
