We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support physician and medical staff
- EMR Experience (Epic preferred)
- Communicate with insurance companies for proper authorizations
- Escort patients to the exam room for history, Vitas, medicines, ECG, etc.
- Perform telephone/messaging appropriate follow-up
- Respect and maintain privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent required (college preferred)
- Previous experience in the healthcare field (Internal medicine preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
- Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA) is preferred
Working location: One location.
Working Schedule: start from Part-time.
Office hours:
Mon, Tue, Fri, 12:30-5:30
Wed and Thu, 8-12:30
WFH hours:
Mon, Tue, Fri, 8:30-11:30
Wed and Thu, 1:30-5:30
