Medical assistant at Cardiology office

Cardiovascular Healthcare Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine clinical tasks to support physician and medical staff
EMR Experience (Epic preferred)
Communicate with insurance companies for proper authorizations
Escort patients to the exam room for history, Vitas, medicines, ECG, etc.
Perform telephone/messaging appropriate follow-up
Respect and maintain privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications:

High school or equivalent required (college preferred)
Previous experience in the healthcare field (Internal medicine preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA) is preferred

Working location: One location.

Working Schedule: start from Part-time.

Office hours:

Mon, Tue, Fri, 12:30-5:30

Wed and Thu, 8-12:30

WFH hours:

Mon, Tue, Fri, 8:30-11:30

Wed and Thu, 1:30-5:30
