Key Responsibilities
- Perform lab testing (waived, moderate, high complexity)
- Handle blood bank work (critical requirement)
- Specimen collection, processing, and data entry
- Analyze and validate abnormal lab results
- Maintain lab equipment (centrifuges, freezers, etc.)
- Quality control & performance improvement
- Train lab staff and students
- Evaluate new testing methods/instruments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related science
- ASCP Certification (or equivalent) required
- Minimum 1+ year recent Blood Bank experience in an acute care hospital
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay: $29 – $41/hour
- Shift Differentials:
- +$2/hr evenings
- +$3/hr nights
- +$3/hr weekends
- Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
- Relocation Assistance: $5,000
