Mechanical Engineering Manager

Mechanical Engineering Manager We have an opening available for a Mechanical Engineering Manager in the Syracuse, NY area. As the Mechanical Engineering Manager you will manage a team of highly technical engineers. Key duties include: Manage the mechanical engineering departments productivity, efficiency, and utilization. Manage schedule and budget for all mechanical engineering resources on projects. Identify and implement improvements in working processes and procedures. Manage engineering backlog. Participate in design reviews, quote reviews, and estimates. Develop and motivate engineers in their career growth. Education and Experience: BS in Engineering. 3+ years of experience supervising groups of Engineers. Previous experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or Product Engineer. Knowledgeable with 3D modeling, PLCs, AC/DC drives systems and ERP systems.
