Registered Nurse Cardiac Observation

Valley Regional Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse for our Cardiac Observation unit. In this role, you’ll provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and short-stay observation. Responsibilities include performing assessments, administering medications, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment plans. You’ll educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, monitor for changes in status, respond to emergencies, and follow HCA and hospital protocols that prioritize safety, quality, and cultural sensitivity for our diverse Rio Grande Valley community.
