Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

Job Summary Full‑time, day shift. The role provides direct clinical patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and unit‑level responsibilities. The RN supervises staff and supports the CNO to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, maintenance of staff competency, and effective resource management. Responsibilities The RN provides high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and infection control, aiming to discharge patients with optimal care. Assumes responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care within the prescribed medical regime and administers all medications safely and promptly according to hospital policy. Performs all HICS (hospital incident command system) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles during emergencies and/or disasters. Knows the hospital’s emergency codes and adheres to the corresponding policies and procedures. Qualifications Education Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing. Experience Preferred: Recent acute care experience. Certifications Required: Current nursing license or registration in the state of practice; AHA BLS; and, if applicable, AHA ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP as required by corporate policy.
