System Analyst

Hybrid Project Manager /System Analyst

We are looking for a talented and self-motivated individual in a hybrid Project Manager /System Analyst role to join Investment Operations System team. The individual will oversee and contribute to all phases of software development lifecycle from requirement gathering to application deployment with a specific focus on Resiliency and Scalability project. He/she will work closely with application architects, developers, analysts, quality assurance, Infrastructure teams and internal business teams to understand strategy and design, analyze processes, develop & document requirements, process, workflow, procedure etc. The ability to estimate, plan and adapt to achieve the relevant deadlines is important. The ability to collaborate, lead, and keep all project members focus, on track and informed is essential. The individual will work both independently and as part of a project team to actively analyze department needs and increase operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Strategically plan for each project milestone to set accurate expectations
• Identify business goals or problems and perform assessment of feasible solutions; determine how changing business needs will affect the system or product and areas of risk
• Supervise day-to-day development work by hosting Stand Up calls and serving as a first line escalation point for all related project issues or queries
• Recognize global gaps between business requirements and existing or proposed design solutions
• Identify process deficiencies and lead automation/improvement initiatives that align with the Resiliency and Scalability project goals
• Support global deployment process through planning and executing aggressive regression testing and wellness checks for system upgrades and developments
• Maintain open lines of communication with the business and other Systems leads to ensure requirements are being met and reflect resource capabilities
• Manage ad hoc projects such as BCP testing, Bundle Patching, etc.
