MRI Technologist II

This role is for an MRI Technologist II responsible for performing routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures in a full-time day shift setting. Key Responsibilities Include Conducting MRI scans across diverse patient populations with clinical competency. Supporting invasive procedures under MRI guidance and administering contrast agents following policies. Ensuring patient safety by adhering to MR safety protocols, proper positioning, and environment security. Maintaining equipment quality, supplies, and inventory, and reporting issues promptly. Preparing patients, verifying orders, and explaining procedures to ensure comfort and understanding. Participating in performance improvement, quality assurance, and staff training activities. Documenting activities accurately in electronic systems and ensuring timely image processing. Upholding professional standards, ethics, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Qualifications Associate’s degree or accredited radiologic/MRI certification. 3-4 years of MRI experience, capable of independent protocol performance. ARMRIT or ARRT (MRI) certification required; BLS certification upon hire. Skills And Abilities Knowledge of anatomical and pathological imaging. Technical proficiency with MRI equipment and procedures. Ability to work effectively under stress and in emergent situations.
