A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support students in a school setting near North Richland Hills, TX. Serve a diverse K-12 population, providing vital speech and language services that can make a meaningful impact in students’ educational journeys. This on-site only position (not open to remote work) spans the entire 2026-2027 academic year, offering full-time hours up to 37.5 hours per week. You'll likely be assigned to a single campus, working with a caseload of approximately 60-65 students.

Essential Qualifications:

• Current active Texas SLPA licensure required
• Experience or strong interest working in K-12 educational settings
• Bilingual Spanish fluency is highly preferred
• Skilled in collaborating with IEP teams, teachers, and families
• Outgoing, compassionate, and organized with keen attention to detail
• Ability to complete or verify fingerprinting through TEA (Texas Education Agency); process may take up to 10 days
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students as directed by supervising SLP
• Support progress monitoring and data collection for students on caseload
• Collaborate closely with school staff to carry out IEPs and adapt interventions for student success
• Document and report student progress in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Attend meetings, trainings, and professional development as required
