Electrical Project Engineer - Youngstown, OHA leading Youngstown, Ohio area manufacturer is recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer / Electrical Project Engineer looking to lead custom automation and power distribution projects from concept to completionResponsibilitiesCreate detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and layouts for power distribution and control systems (including electrical control circuits and bus bar systems).Select components and generate the project Bill of Materials (BOM) for products like SWBD, MCC, Panelboard, VFD control, ATS, industrial control panels, relays, and transformersSchedule, plan, forecast, and manage technical activities while monitoring budgets, schedules, and personnel performanceBuild and evaluate prototypes to validate design concepts, troubleshoot issues, and ensure product reliabilityEnsure all designs meet strict industry codes and certifications (NEC, UL, IEC, IEEE) and collaborate with third-party certification teamsInteract daily with clients to interpret project requirements, provide field representation, and coordinate with multidisciplinary production teams.Prepare technical specifications, manuals, test results, and periodic progress/cost reports for executive leadership.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) OR a minimum of 10 years of proven electrical engineering experience.
