Sr. Research Associate - Gene Therapy

Dyno Therapeutics seeks a Senior Research Associate to support muscle AAV gene therapy development in Watertown. The role involves tissue processing, nucleic acid extraction and analysis, histology workflows, and in vitro capsid characterization. Candidates need a BS/MS in biology or related field plus 3+ years of hands-on lab experience with molecular techniques and mammalian tissues.

Responsibilities

• Process and dissect mammalian, non-human primate, and mouse tissues for analysis
• Extract, purify, and quantify nucleic acids using qPCR and RT-qPCR methods
• Prepare next-generation sequencing libraries and conduct quality control steps
• Support histology workflows including tissue preparation, staining, and imaging
• Maintain cell cultures and conduct in vitro experiments characterizing muscle capsids

Requirements

• BS or MS in biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, or related field
• 3+ years post-graduate hands-on wet lab experience
• Proficiency in DNA/RNA purification and quantification methods
• Experience processing mammalian tissues and complex biological samples
• Expertise executing protocols with high accuracy and attention to detail
• Capability to manage large sample inventories across concurrent studies
• Strong data analysis and technical troubleshooting skills
