CT Technologist

Must be open to all shift times; self-schedule based on seniority. Common start times include 0600 and 0800. Weekend coverage may exceed every-other-weekend to meet unit needs.

Acute care hospital assignment; locals accepted at the same rate. Patient ratio is 1:1. Guaranteed hours may be subject to the facility's needs.

Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required. Community hospital experience required. Valid state license required at submission (compact license must be in hand). Required certifications include BLS, ARRT (CT or R accepted), and state CRT. Core CT skills required include contrast administration and safety, abdomen/head/chest/pelvis CT w/wo contrast, CT angiography, brain perfusion, and lumbar/musculoskeletal trauma imaging. Experience with Toshiba and GE CT scanners, as well as PACS.

Perform CT scans, ensuring proper patient positioning and safety. Administer contrast media according to protocols. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care. Document and maintain accurate patient records in the prescribed charting system. Assist with biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures as necessary.

All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application; limited RTO allowed. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
