Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and in-depth medical history reviews
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by analyzing imaging and lab results
• Work in synergy with surgical teams to develop and implement tailored surgical care plans
• Support intraoperative activities including setting up operating rooms, positioning patients appropriately, and providing surgical instrument support
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, managing medications, wound care, discharge procedures, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience completing clinical rotations with a focus on surgical practice is highly desirable

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or qualification for licensure) as a Physician Assistant
