Project Milestone Keeper

The Project Milestone Keeper (PMK) is in charge of: The assessment of the project (Vehicle, Powertrain, Plate-form, EE project, Engine, Gearbox, new mass production launch) at each milestone or review: They appreciate the project status according to the different KPI (Quality, Performance, Cost, Time Schedule, Industrial, Purchasing, Brand) and deliverables expected at each milestone. They contribute to improve the standards (SOD, MPRI) by bringing his lessons learned from the different projects he is in charge. They help/advise the project Teams to deploy the quality actions (recovery plans) and all the method needed to ensure the reachability of the Q Product results or Q Process results. They give the commercialization agreement for the vehicle or Powertrain. Their perimeter is: The Engine/Gearbox/ePT projects and the ePT projects The serial life evolutions (i.e. window launchers) for Powertrain The partnership or cooperation projects The new industrializations: i.e. new plant projects for Engine, gearbox known or ePT component. To lead their mission, they: Has very tight relationships with the project Team (all the main actors) to appreciate the right execution to obtain the contains expected at each milestone, Establishes the quotation of the deliverables expected for each milestone and to draw up the milestone assessment, Arranges the sharing milestone assessment meeting before each milestone to share the synthesis and the quotation of the assessment, Arranges, if needed, all the meeting between “Maiter (Design, Brand, Industrial, …)” and the project in order to find solutions for a recovery plan, Identifies the right method or process to advise the next projects and to improve the standards by using their lessons learned, Attends to the meeting to improve the method or process thanks to their own lessons learned acquired during the follow up of their projects, Has the assistance of a Project Quality Correspondent to manage the activities allowing to define the milestone assessment. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related degree 10+ years of engineering experience including a minimum of 5 years of management experience Experience in the automotive industry and product development Self-directed, team oriented with demonstrated planning/problem-solving skills Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of people at all levels of the organization Ability to collect and synthesize data into meaningful information and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build solid partnerships, both internally and externally Expertise in planning, prioritizing, and goal setting including the ability to manage multiple projects, determining project urgency, creating detailed action plans, and organizing schedules, people, and tasks Assertive and ambitious nature Results oriented Motivated to learn new principles and ideas, and have excitement in applying these new principles Motivated to make a positive impact in the work environment and on the quality of the products produced Our Benefits — Designed with You in Mind Comprehensive Health & Well-being Coverage From your very first day, you'll have access to medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage — ensuring you and your family stay healthy and protected.
