OB/GYN Physician - Outpatient Private Practice
\nLocation: Long Island, NY
\nJob Type: Full-Time
\nFacility Type: Outpatient position with no hospital work, deliveries, or surgeries.
\nJob Summary & Responsibilities:
\nWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated OB/GYN Physician to join a well-established, office-based private practice with a long-standing reputation for providing exceptional women's healthcare. This is a 100% outpatient position with no hospital work, deliveries, or surgeries.

Preventive care such as annual well-woman exams, cancer screenings, STI testing, and menopausal care
\n - \n
Diagnosis and management of gynecologic conditions using evidence-based practices
\n - \n
Reproductive and sexual health counseling tailored to diverse patient populations
\n - \n
Performing in-office procedures including Pap smears, colposcopies, endometrial biopsies, and IUD/implant placement and removal
\n - \n
Providing clinical guidance and support to Physician Assistants as needed
\n - \n
Maintaining high standards of patient care and contributing to a positive office culture
\n
Position Highlights:

Flexible schedule with approximately 30-35 hours per week
\n - \n
No hospital responsibilities, deliveries, or surgical procedures
\n - \n
Limited phone-only call coverage (1 night in 4 and 1 weekend in 4)
\n - \n
One Saturday office shift (approximately 6 hours) per month
\n - \n
Established patient base with high patient satisfaction
\n - \n
AIUM-accredited practice with certified ultrasound technicians on-site
\n - \n
Excellent clinical and administrative support staff
\n - \n
Immediate hiring opportunity

Patient Population:
\n- \n

Primarily women ages 20-75
\n - \n
Occasional adolescent patients
\n - \n
Approximately 20-24 patients per day during an 8-hour schedule
\n
Education, Licensure, and Experience:
\n- \n
- \n
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
\n - \n
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
\n - \n
Active and unrestricted New York medical license or ability to obtain
\n - \n
Minimum of 10 years of post-residency OB/GYN experience required
\n - \n
Candidates with 20-25 years of experience strongly preferred
\n - \n
Strong clinical judgment and ability to practice independently
\n - \n
Experience supervising or collaborating with advanced practice providers preferred
\n
