RN/LPN Infection Prevention Control Training Specialist

Come thrive with us at our exquisite Memory Care Assisted Living Community, Bridges by EPOCH at Norwalk! We are now hiring an Infection Prevention Control Training Specialist to join our Nursing leadership team in Connecticut! This is a Nursing position for an RN or LPN.

*Full-time (37.50 hours per week). This position requires a minimum of 24 hours each month providing training to staff within the community on each shift. The remainder of the hours will be working on the day shift 7am-3pm (13.50 hours). Some weekends and some holidays required.

Responsibilities

• The Infection Prevention Control Training Specialist is responsible for the training of all team members on infection prevention and control utilizing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention program.
• This is a full-time position for the Bridges communities in the State of Connecticut.
• Monitors Infection control policies within the community.
• Provides quality control and implements training as needed.
• Follows state guidelines on infection control.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDC Infection Control Prevention Certificate or be willing to certify through us or another approved infection control certification.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Some experience working in an Assisted Living community preferred.
• LPN License preferred.
