Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Cayuga, NY | Schedule: Full-time, on-site | Compensation: Not specified Overview A premier health organization in the Finger Lakes region of New York is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join its rehabilitative services team. This direct-hire role supports patients across inpatient, outpatient, ALC, and Skilled Nursing settings, working closely with an interdisciplinary care team and reporting to the Clinical Coordinator of Rehabilitative Services. What you'll do Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans based on physician prescriptions Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and required reports Communicate regularly with physicians regarding patient progress Work with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care Educate and guide patients, families, and caregivers Maintain equipment and assist with developing new speech therapy services Provide mentorship and direction to support staff involved in patient care Participate in in-service education, committees, and professional development Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service Provide age-appropriate care to all patient populations Attend mandatory annual training and comply with all departmental policies Perform frequent standing and intermittent lifting, positioning, or transferring of patients or equipment Required qualifications Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program Eligible for NYS license Eligible for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) BLS required within 90 days of hire Preferred qualifications 1-2 years of hospital experience preferred Compensation and benefits Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision coverage Generous paid time off and holidays Tuition reimbursement and continuing education support Retirement plan with employer contribution Employee wellness programs Opportunities for advancement across the organization Why this role This position offers the chance to join a supportive, patient-focused therapy team that values collaboration, professional growth, and compassionate, whole-person care within a premier health organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr
