Accounting Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable full-time Hotel Accounting Clerk to join our hospitality team at Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Club . This position plays a key role in supporting the hotel’s daily accounting and financial operations while ensuring accuracy, organization, and timely processing of financial information. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, or hotel finance experience and possess strong organizational and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Process accounts payable invoices and submit all hotel invoices to the Corporate Office in a timely manner. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies Prepare and manage hotel cash deposits Write and process checks as needed Maintain and balance property petty cash/on-hand cash funds Handle group billing functions, including posting payments and distributing invoices to clients Assist with month-end accounting tasks and financial reporting support Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems Communicate professionally with vendors, guests, corporate staff, and hotel departments Support the General Manager and Area Controller with additional accounting and administrative requests Ensure compliance with company and franchise accounting procedures and internal controls Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Minimum of 1 year of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or hotel finance experience preferred Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skill Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience with hotel property management systems or accounting software preferred Strong written and verbal communication skill Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Join our team and help support the financial success of a fast-paced hospitality environment while delivering exceptional service behind the scenes #J-18808-Ljbffr Shaner Hotels
