Job Description
Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse - ICU - Glens Falls, NY

Overview
• Facility Type: Hospital
• Unit/Department: Intensive Care Unit
• Contract: 13 weeks | Start: ASAP | Hours/Week: 36
• Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM | Weekends: Every other | Call: No


Requirements
• License: NY RN
• Certs: BLS, ACLS
• Experience: 4 years
• EMR: EPIC, CERNER preferred
• Compliance: De-escalation training required
• Locals: Considered at $10 below bill rate
• RTO Policy: Facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per contract


Responsibilities
• Provide critical care and nursing interventions for patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document and track patient progress using EPIC system.
• Assist families with care decisions and provide emotional support.
• Float to Med-Surg/Tele if needed, maximum of 4 patients.

• Facility operates 24/7, 365 days a year
• Scrubs provided on-site
• Candidates with previous full-time experience in the AMC network within the past six months will not be considered.
