Location: Jacksonville, NC

Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time Opportunities Available)

Compensation: $120,000-$125,000 per year

An established outpatient Primary Care and Urgent Care practice in Jacksonville, North Carolina is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join its dedicated healthcare team.

Position Highlights

Responsibilities

•Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care and urgent care services

•Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions

•Perform routine physicals, wellness visits, and preventive health screenings

•Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications within scope of practice

•Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies

•Educate patients on preventive care, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices

•Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records

•Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care

Qualifications

Required

•Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) program

•Active North Carolina NP or PA license (or ability to obtain before start)

•DEA registration (or ability to obtain)

•Strong communication, clinical decision-making, and patient care skills

Preferred

•Experience in Primary Care, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care

•DOT Medical Examiner Certification (training provided if not currently certified)

•Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Schedule

•Monday-Friday

•Weekend availability on a rotating basis
