Job Summary The Upper Valley Aquatic Center, a non-profit organization, strives to deliver a diverse range of high-quality aquatic and fitness programs accessible to all members of the Upper Valley community. We promote fitness and wellness programs; as well as aquatic competition, education and safety. We are seeking a Customer Service Manager to lead the \"Welcome Desk\" operations and ensure that all guests feel welcomed and informed when coming and going from our facility. This position is responsible for leading the member/guest experience and the operations specific to the Welcome Desk including oversight and training of the Welcome Desk staff. They will be maintaining high standards of customer service using best practices to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Note that in addition to hourly compensation, benefits are available to eligible employees. Pay Ranges: Min $22.00 Mid $25.82 Max $29.08 Duties/Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day operations at the Welcome Desk Interaction with members and guests responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner Hire and Train new Welcome Desk Associates Mentor and develop Welcome Desk staff and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment Creation and Management of Welcome Desk Staff Schedules Development and implementation of Best Practice Standards of Service Manage the approved budget of the Welcome Desk Position Requirements Required Skills/Abilities Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Good understanding of management practices and techniques. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills A passion for customer satisfaction Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite and POS systems Education and Experience A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a customer service position Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant field preferred Physical and Schedule Requirements Ability to stand for long periods of time Flexible schedule required for AM/PM and Weekend Hours Coverage of the Welcome Desk Contract and Working Hours Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Shift -not applicable- Location UVAC Main Employment Classification Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt #J-18808-Ljbffr
