As a Front Desk Agent, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction‑free experience, but also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location. Key Accountabilities Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience. Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone. Take and manage guest bookings, upsell opportunities and share ways to improve their stay. Handle cash and credit transactions. Check guests in and out swiftly—verify IDs, hand out room keys, and manage safety deposit boxes. Stay one step ahead of guests’ needs—record and act on preferences and handle all messages, requests, questions and concerns. Be a trusted contact for all guests. Assist with billing issues, local knowledge, and involve management as required. Follow safety procedures and report all incidents; wear protective gear when needed. Represent the brand with pride—maintain a professional appearance. Know the day's events and activities. Assist colleagues with ad‑hoc duties as needed. Key Skills & Experiences Strong communication skills; approachable and empathetic. Effective problem‑solving – turning issues into opportunities. Fluency in the local language; additional languages are a plus. Literacy and basic computer proficiency; comfortable with numbers. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. High‑school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a bonus. At least one year of front‑desk or guest‑service experience.
