Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Vendor GovernanceEstablish and lead enterprise-wide strategic sourcing processes, including vendor selection, evaluation criteria, contracting standards, and lifecycle governanceBuild and maintain a vendor inventory and rationalization framework, identifying opportunities to reduce redundancy and consolidate spendDevelop and enforce sourcing governance policies, intake standards, and approval frameworks in collaboration with key stakeholdersDefine preferred vendor standards and maintain a vendor rationalization roadmapSourcing Execution & Commercial ManagementLead competitive sourcing processes including RFx design and execution, vendor outreach, evaluation, and award recommendationOwn contract negotiations and commercial engagements for new vendors and renewals, driving favorable terms, SLAs, and pricing structuresManage contract renewals, extensions, and renegotiations, maintaining pricing consistency and contractual complianceLeverage enterprise-scale buying power to optimize cost and performance across the vendor portfolioVendor Relationships & PerformanceBuild and manage a preferred vendor program, including performance monitoring and ongoing relationship managementServe as the primary liaison between business units and vendor contactsProactively review vendor agreements to identify cost savings, consolidation opportunities, and risk exposurePartner with Legal, Risk, and Compliance to ensure contracts meet regulatory and organizational standardsServe as primary liaison for vendor-related requests working with business units to assess, prioritize, and manage demandCollaborate with Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Technology to align sourcing activity with enterprise priorities and risk appetiteDrive process consistency and reduce vendor sprawl through disciplined intake and portfolio oversightProvide regular reporting and visibility into sourcing activity, vendor performance trends, and portfolio health for leadership Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.7+ years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience, with demonstrated success managing complex vendor relationships and commercial negotiations.Experience in banking, financial services, or a similarly regulated industry strongly preferred.Proven track record of building or maturing a sourcing function, with the ability to operate effectively in an environment where processes are still being established.Strong knowledge of contract structures, negotiation strategy, and vendor risk management principles.Comfort working with senior and executive-level stakeholders across business units.Proficiency with sourcing/contract management tools (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer); ERP familiarity a plus.Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or equivalent certification preferredExperience with third-party risk management (TPRM) frameworks and regulatory requirements common to financial institutions preferredFamiliarity with indirect spend categories including technology, professional services, facilities, and operations.Experience using spend analytics tools or BI platforms to inform sourcing decisions and executive reporting.Wage Range:The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 Benefits Overview:Univest offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Health Insurance: Medical, dental and vision coverage (single or family; begins the first of the month following start date)Retirement Plan: Participation in 401(k) plan with up to a 3% employer match after 6 months of employmentPaid Time Off (PTO): 25 days annually (prorated your first year)Short Term Disability: 12 weeks of sick time with a doctors note after 6 months of service Holiday Time Off: 11 paid holidaysCommissions: paid quarterly based on individual and team productionWe offer company paid life insurance: as well as other supplemental insurancesTuition reimbursement Employee Wellness programs: including fitness club discounts and fitness tracker discounts/ annual reimbursementDiscounts: on loan productsProfessional development trainingsClick here for Benefit Information#Univest#LI-HybridAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
