Full Stack Python Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Python Developer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in understanding legacy codebases, performing root-cause analysis, resolving production issues, and extending existing systems while preserving compatibility, stability, and established coding patterns.


Rate Range: $56/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Full Stack Python Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues through effective debugging, log analysis, and root-cause investigation.
• Maintain, enhance, and extend existing Python applications while adhering to established legacy architecture and coding standards.
• Quickly understand undocumented or complex legacy codebases and implement new functionality without disrupting existing system behavior.
• Develop, test, and support API integrations, database interactions, exception handling mechanisms, and application performance improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement fixes, enhancements, and long-term stability improvements.
• Provide ongoing production support, incident resolution, and performance troubleshooting to ensure application reliability and business continuity.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Python development, application support, and software maintenance.
• Strong expertise in troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing legacy Python applications without introducing unnecessary redesigns or modernization risks.
• Proven ability to perform root-cause analysis, resolve production issues, and develop new functionality while maintaining compatibility with existing architectures, frameworks, and coding standards.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour
