Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Crane Operator to join our team. At JA Bonilla Inc., we value safety, precision, and dedication to delivering top-notch craftsmanship. Please note: this is full-time permanent position. We are located in Indiana and the majority of our business operations are in the mid-west region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a crane to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Ensure proper load weight distribution and use appropriate lifting techniques to prevent damage and ensure safety.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is roadworthy and safe for travel.
• Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and maintain delivery and inspection records.
• Work in coordination with other team members to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of cargo.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies regarding vehicle operation, cargo handling, and safety. (if CDL class A licensed)

Requirements:

• Crane Operator Certification is required.
• 1-3 years of crane operation experience preferred.
• Out of town travel required, sometimes for extended periods.
• Knowledge of proper loading and load weight distribution techniques.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as loading/unloading and occasional heavy lifting.
• Attention to detail in completing paperwork and maintaining records.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. regularly.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record preferred.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
