Asian Cuisine Cook

The Asian Cuisine Cook is responsible for supporting the Food and Beverage department by preparing and cooking various Asian cuisine dishes for casino guests. Duties include handling prep work, assists with line cooking, organizes walk in storage and keeps work area clean and orderly at all times. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager.

Starting wage is $23.88/hr increasing to $26.87/hr at successful completion of 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Experience & Requirements:

• At least two years of Asian Cuisine cooking experience is required
• Must have valid Washington State food handler's card

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and have good paced mobility for long periods of time
• Must be able to communicate clearly and listen attentively
• The ability to lift 50 pounds
• Must possess good manual and finger dexterity to use small cooking utensils
• Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays

All applicants must obtain a Class III B license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. However, the use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant unless the position requires driving a company vehicle.
