Our Commercial & Industrial division designs, fabricates and constructs structural steelwork for a variety of different sectors including commercial offices, stadia & leisure, industrial & distribution, data centres, retail and health and education. The division has manufacturing sites in three locations: Dalton, Lostock, and Enniskillen. Each has full-service capabilities and modern manufacturing processes enabling us to provide a high-quality product to a variety of different sectors. Each of our sites has its own strong reputation in the market and between them cover a wider geographical area, including Europe. They continue to set a bar high in their highly complex market! In this role, you will be responsible for managing site-based activities safely, efficiently, within budget, and on schedule. You will ensure all work aligns with company procedures, best practices, statutory legislation, and contractual obligations. Key responsibilities include: Managing project programmes, monitoring site progress, and taking action to meet deadlines for on-time project delivery. Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, and supporting the Project Team in meetings. Overseeing labour and plant equipment levels to maintain operational efficiency. Ensuring full compliance with safety regulations across all construction activities. At Severfield, safety is paramount and embedded in every aspect of our work. Therefore, this role requires a strong commitment to health and safety standards. You will also need to obtain full security clearance if you do not already hold it. Required Qualifications & Experience: A construction-related degree (or equivalent) with relevant industry experience. CSCS Card NVQ Level 5 or 6 Qualified in the Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) MEWP certification Previous site management experience within the steelwork industry.
