We are seeking an experienced CNC Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume precision manufacturing operation in San Jacinto, CA.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining CNC machining equipment . This position requires someone who understands both the mechanical and electrical sides of CNC machinery and can independently diagnose machine failures and get equipment back into production.

Candidates should have experience working with CNC mills, CNC lathes, machining centers, controls, servo systems, drives, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related industrial equipment .

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair CNC mills, CNC lathes, and other automated machining equipment .
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control-related machine problems.
• Troubleshoot machine alarms and identify the root cause of equipment failures.
• Repair and replace servo motors, spindle motors, drives, encoders, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, and other machine components .
• Troubleshoot CNC control systems and machine electrical circuits.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, hydraulic diagrams, pneumatic diagrams, and machine manuals .
• Perform mechanical repairs involving bearings, ball screws, couplings, belts, gearboxes, pumps, and other machine components.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC and manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose coolant system, lubrication system, pump, and filtration problems.
• Inspect CNC equipment for wear, damage, alignment issues, and potential failures.
• Assist with machine geometry, alignment, and calibration when required.
• Back up machine parameters and assist with control-related troubleshooting.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, replacement parts, and equipment history.
• Respond to production equipment breakdowns and prioritize repairs to minimize machine downtime.
• Coordinate with machinists, programmers, supervisors, and manufacturing personnel to identify recurring equipment issues.
• Maintain spare parts, maintenance tools, and equipment in an organized manner.
• Follow all lockout/tagout, electrical safety, and company safety procedures.

• Previous experience as a CNC Maintenance Technician, CNC Repair Technician, Industrial Maintenance Technician, or Machine Tool Maintenance Technician required.
• Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machining equipment.
• Experience working with CNC mills and CNC lathes strongly preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience troubleshooting CNC controls, servo drives, motors, sensors, and machine alarms .
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and machine diagrams.
• Experience using electrical diagnostic equipment, including a digital multimeter .
• Understanding of CNC machine geometry, mechanical alignment, and machine components.
• Ability to diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance on CNC and industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize equipment repairs based on production needs.
• Experience in an automotive, aerospace, machining, foundry, or high-volume manufacturing environment is a plus.

Candidates must have flexibility to begin their shift within the established start-time window based on production and maintenance requirements.

Overtime may be available or required depending on production needs and equipment downtime.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on CNC maintenance professional , not simply a general facilities maintenance technician.

We are looking for someone who can walk up to a CNC machine experiencing an alarm or failure, systematically diagnose whether the problem is electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, control-related, or component-related , make the necessary repair, and safely return the equipment to production.

A strong candidate will understand that minimizing CNC downtime is critical to the manufacturing operation and will be comfortable taking ownership of troubleshooting and repairs from diagnosis through completion.
