The Role The major component of this role includes administering first aid and actively contributing to the wellbeing of students, staff, and volunteers, in compliance with relevant Occupational Safety and Health Legislation. The successful applicant would play a key role in student health planning and implementation, promotion, and evaluation of the school's health and wellbeing programs and frameworks. They will assist in developing strategies to reduce the risk of injury and harm. In addition, the successful applicant would provide guidance to school staff on Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) matters. This includes maintaining accurate records related to injury, illness, incidents, accidents, and hazards, as well as conducting analysis of data and identifying trends. Excellent communication skills are vital, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively to achieve positive outcomes.
