Shift: 1st or 2nd Shift We are hiring multiple Press Brake Operators to join our team in Berea, OH . In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines according to precise specifications. If you have experience in press brake operations and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do:
- Set up and prepare press brake machines, ensuring proper alignment of dies and settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and production orders
- Calculate bend allowances and determine tonnage requirements for press brake machines
- Load and unload materials, ensuring accurate positioning on the machine
- Use micrometers, calipers, and other tools to ensure precision and quality of work
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs on press brake machines
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production and troubleshoot any issues
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety guidelines
- At least 3 years of experience operating press brake machines (mechanical or hydraulic)
- Experience with Cincinnati press brakes or Steelwell machines preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with a strong understanding of mechanical processes
- Strong math skills to calculate dimensions, angles, and tolerances
- Knowledge of press brake machine settings and controls
- Ability to work independently, with attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
