Shifts: D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule - Weekends, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs, 36 or 48 hours per week


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN to join the neurosurgical unit in Rochester as an ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel Nurse. This exciting opportunity allows you to work within a mixed-acuity environment, providing care for diverse patients alongside multidisciplinary teams focused on specialties such as brain tumors, spinal malformations, and epilepsy surgery.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel Nurse

• Conduct Q1 neuro checks, manage EVDs, lumbar drains, and subdural drains
• Administer 3% NS and Cardene drips, and manage arterial lines
• Provide care for patients undergoing carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coiling/clips, and DBS Insertion (Deep Brain Stimulator)
• Assist patients with VP shunts and seizure management

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Travel Nurse

• Must have Stepdown/PCU Experience
• Current RN License (NY License ONLY)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience required
• Telemetry Experience
• Two (2) Years Experience
• NIHSS Certification required
• ACLS Certification preferred (American Heart Association ONLY)
