Shifts: Straight Nights Shift Schedule - Weekends, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs; 36 or 48 hours per week


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Travel RN for the ICU - Intensive Care Unit in Rochester, NY. This position offers the opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams specializing in neurosurgical care, including brain tumors, spinal malformations, and epilepsy surgery. Ideal candidates will have experience with high-acuity cases and step-down/PCU environments.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Care for a diverse patient population in a mixed-acuity unit
• Perform Q1 neuro checks, manage EVDs, lumbar drains, subdural drains, and administer 3% NS and Cardene drips
• Monitor patients with arterial lines, carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coiling/clips, DBS insertion, VP shunts, and seizure management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient care

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Must have step-down/PCU experience
• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Two (2) years experience with high acuity stroke and neurosurgery
• Telemetry experience required
• NIHSS required
• ACLS preferred
