Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — Texas or compact state accepted
- Minimum 1 year recent experience in an Emergency Room / Emergency Department setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to ED patients across acuity levels
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritize care in a fast-paced emergency department
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document care accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up instructions
- Maintain situational awareness and contribute to ED safety and quality initiatives
