Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inspector / Packer to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Sand Springs, OK . This hands-on production role focuses on inspecting and packaging heat-forged rail track spikes , ensuring all products meet strict quality and customer standards.

Required Experience & Skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects quickly
• Willingness to perform repetitive production tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Basic familiarity with measurement tools, gauges, or inspection equipment
• Forklift experience preferred (training may be available for the right candidate)
• Ability to stay focused and maintain quality standards during long shifts
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Inspection Duties (Approx. 50%)
• Visually inspect forged rail spikes for defects including cracks, pits, laps, discoloration, scale buildup, or deformation
• Use preset gauges and measuring tools to verify dimensions and product accuracy
• Monitor product flow on conveyor lines and clear jams when needed

Packaging Duties (Approx. 50%)
• Operate automated filler equipment to ensure proper container weights
• Adjust and monitor load scales as needed
• Manually transfer filled containers onto pallets safely and efficiently
• Label packaged materials accurately
• Maintain production counts and packaging documentation

Additional Duties
• Occasionally operate forklifts to move palletized materials to staging, storage, shrink wrap, or shipping areas
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and production standards

Work Environment
• Fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment
• Exposure to conveyors, production equipment, industrial materials, and repetitive workflow
• Physically active role requiring standing, lifting, walking, repetitive movement, and consistent production pace
• PPE required in operational areas
