Job Title Contingent Workplace Services Events Coordinator Job Location Sunnyvale; Interview via Zoom/Onsite Primary Function of Position The Workplace Services (WPS) Planner will report to the Manager of Facilities Operations and Services and will work closely with the Workplace Services Events Coordinator. The WPS Planner will review and process reservation requests, manage schedules for event technicians, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure that all event details are understood and communicated with the supporting functions. Essential Job Duties Monitor the Workplace Services inbox for events‑related inquiries and space reservation requests. Manage all incoming Cvent tickets and follow up with the requestors if additional information is needed. Submit tickets to support functions (Facilities, Janitorial, etc.) when requested. Create daily schedules for the Events technicians. Proactively engage with requestors for upcoming events, including week‑before event contact to determine if there are any changes to the reservation. The planner is expected to walk the event space with the requester as needed. Required Skills and Experience Strong critical thinking skills to make informed decisions and develop innovative solutions. Extensive experience using Outlook. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. Writing, speaking, and presentation abilities essential. Experience cross‑collaborating with multiple business units. Required Education and Training Minimum 2 years of experience in the event management environment.
