Mechanical Design Engineer II (Onsite)

Mechanical EngineerCollins Aerospace is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join the Lighting design team in Phoenix, AZ. This position will work collaboratively with our team and others to design, develop and maintain designs for high-quality, and reliable lighting products for the commercial aerospace industry. As a mechanical engineer in our department, you will be responsible for working with other engineering disciplines, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality to help sustain existing product or develop new products. This role will include regularly working in a 3D modeling environment, troubleshooting complex problems, developing solutions, and communicating outcomes. The candidate would ideally be familiar with aerospace design processes, and procedures such as DO-160. This position requires a commitment to professional working hours for an onsite position.
