Medical Call Center Representative

Customer Service RepresentativeHealthcare organization is seeking compassionate individuals to join their remote customer care team. The Customer Service Representative will be focused on inbound within the remote call center to assist patients, caregivers, and family members with questions, scheduling, processing authorizations, customer inquiry, and additional admin tasks as needed.Equipment: Company provided Laptop, Headset, keyboard, mouse and MonitorSchedule: All applicants must have schedule flexibility within the following hours: Monday - Friday 6AM - 6:30PM and Saturday 6:00AM-6:00PM.Job OverviewAnswer incoming phone calls, emails, and contacts in a fast paced call center environment [approx. 75+ calls per day]Screen, transfer, resolve and dispose of calls expeditiously.Effectively schedule of participant's appointments, including trouble-shooting conflicts or urgent needs, communicating with staff, family, providers, etc., and meeting appointment turn-around times as outlined by scheduling protocolsReview, process, schedule and authorize ordersEnsure timely documentation of all updates and communication is documented within internal systemProvide eligibility status and benefit information for participantsAddress participant and provider inquiriesEscalate concerns as neededJob RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED Required2-3 years experience in a call center environment with high volume in bound and out bound callsFluency in Spanish is a plus, but not requiredCustomer Service in a healthcare setting is a plusMust have prior experience with CRM or EHR/EMR platformMust have reliable high-speed internet connection at home.
