Routing Specialist

If the role interests you and you would like to be considered we encourage you to apply!We are looking for someone that can coordinate and setup appointment times for inbound and outbound shipments from our corporate facility. This role will be responsible for contacting customers and determining the delivery schedule that will allow us to fulfill our goals of delivering on time and in full. You will be working within our SAP/Open Dock system and will be interacting with multiple TMS programs on a daily basis.Job Responsibilities:Interact with Retailer transportation teamsPerform SAP WM, EWM and Open Dock transactionsManage transactions in customer TMS portals to route outbound shipmentsManage transactions in internal TMS system and Open Dock portalMaintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) – On-Time Ship and Customer ComplianceManage routines between assigned DC’s and customersComply with World Class and Culture Management Standards ( WCCO)Work daily with Scotts assigned Distribution Centers to achieve shipping goalsSkills:Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Google)Basic understanding of distribution, transportation, and freight routingBe able to prioritize multiple daily tasks with changing priorities and needsSAP, TMS, and Open Dock experience a plusEducationBachelor's Degree - Engineering, supply chain management, operations, finance or other related degree preferred, or equivalent experienceExperience - 0 - 2 Years Minimum 1+ year experience in an administrative, analytical, or customer service role, preferredThe starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $59,700.00 - $70,200.00 per year.
