Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Responsible for delivering high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Functions independently to assess, plan, and implement patient care provided in the emergency room setting. Collaborates with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' conditions promptly upon arrival and determine the urgency of care needed.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
• Educate patients and family members on care plans, treatment options, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, technicians, and other staff to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition and escalate issues as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license with active state licensure.
• Proven experience working in an emergency room or acute care setting.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
