Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• The pay for this position is $19.00 per hour.
• Schedule: 40 hours/week (overnight + weekend rotation)
• • Training (Week 1): Monday–Thursday 4:30 PM–12:30 AM
  • Regular schedule: Monday–Wednesday 9:00 PM–7:00 AM , plus either:
  • • Thursday 4:30 PM–2:30 AM   or
    • Saturday 2:30 PM–12:30 AM
• Onsite position (Micro Fulfillment Center)
• This position is a Temporary (W2) contract — approximately 13 weeks
• Location: Bolingbrook, IL 60440

Responsibilities

• Assist in the  preparation and distribution of prescription medications using a fulfillment system.
• Process prescription exceptions , including claim rejects and required outreach to members/providers.
• Enter  patient/member demographics and prescription information into the system.
• Research and resolve  rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns.
• Escalate prescription questions to a  Pharmacist as needed for interpretation/direction.
• Support  inbound/outbound calls with patients and/or prescribers (as assigned).
• Operate  automated machinery , sort medications, and move inventory through workflow stages with strong attention to  quality control .
• Count/fill prescriptions , affix labels,  pack and ship orders.
• Maintain an orderly work area and assist with basic equipment/area cleanliness.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Pharmacy Technician experience (2–4 years preferred)
• Illinois Pharmacy Technician registration/certification OR  must be eligible and able to obtain per state requirements  
• Basic computer skills and comfort working in multiple systems
• Keyboarding: 25+ WPM (35+ WPM preferred)
• Must be 18+and  fluent in English (read/write/speak)
• Ability to perform physical tasks including  pushing/pulling/grasping/lifting (up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation)
