Remote Payroll Specialist
Virtual Vocations Inc
Detail-oriented and highly organized, the Remote Payroll Specialist will prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for over 250 employees and contractors while ensuring compliance and accuracy in a fully remote, part-time or full-time capacity. Key responsibilities Preparing and processing twice-monthly payroll and ensuring timely submission of payroll information for approval Tracking, recording, and processing wage garnishments, while assisting HR with new hire paperwork and terminations Providing support for payroll-related inquiries and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information Required qualifications 2 to 3 years of payroll experience Experience with payroll software, preferably QuickBooks Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality Proficiency in handling payroll-related issues and compliance requirements Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
